Time stops in the center of a black hole because the speed light is slowed down to zero. Therefore, it's like there isn't any light in the first place. So, by similar logic, would that mean that time stops in a completely dark room? Ideas?

The reason light, and everything else for that matter, slows down to zero in a blackhole is because of how extremely dense it is and the immense gravity of it. Not because of an abscence of light.
